Fishing Report Big Thompson below Olympus Dam to Drake: Water level is currently at about 34 CFS, as of Friday, October 31st, 2008. Water level is down, and fishing is great, using Tungsten Micro Mayfly #16, Tungsten Prince Nymph #16, Tungsten Pheasant Tails #16, or a Tungsten Swing Nymph #16 , trailed with Mike's PHD green #22, Wilcox's Lint Bug #20, Sow Bug-light tan #20, soft-hackle Sow Bug #20, brassies #22, Black Beauty #22, Barr's Pure Red Midge #22 or a JujuBee #22 olive or red. Dry Flies to use are CDC Cluster Midge #22, Trailing Shuck Midge #22, Brook's Sprout Baetis #24 or a Parachute Adam #24. Big Thompson below Drake:

Lead with a Pheasant Tail #16, Tung, MicroMayfly #16 or a Copper John #18, trailed with Mike's PHD green #22, RS2 dun #22, Soft-hackle Sow Bug #20, Quasimodo Pheasant Tail #20, JujuBaetis #20, JujuBee red or olive #20, Black Beauty #20, or a Barr's Pure Red Midge #20. Fishing slow. Try a Parachute Adam #22 or a Griffith's Gnat #22, trailed with a Crystal Hunchback Baetis #22. Lily Lake:
Fishing fair to good with suspended nymphs. Best luck on a Tungsten Micro Mayfly #16, trailed with a Barr's pure red midge #22. Fish for cruisers. For dries use an Orange Asher #18, Renegade #18, trailed with Scuds #18.
