The Airius is a fully machined, large arbor fly reel that defines excellence in both performance and cosmetics. The multi-level disc drag system is incredibly smooth and there is no shortage of stopping power in this modern Ross design. The spindle support shaft is based on our Gunnison series – an industry favorite for more than two decades. This large diameter stainless steel shaft provides incredible stability and is strong, lightweight and saltwater safe. The spoked frame and extensively ventilated spool add to the lightweight feel, yet the Airius is built to endure a lifetime of flawless performance. This series has been fitted with our new “Quick-Switch” retrieve conversion that makes changing the direction of retrieve as easy as flipping on a light. This reel is also equipped with our newest drag knob design that delivers smooth rotation, infinite adjustments and secure settings.
