Moraine Park and the Upper Big Thompson at Fern Lake Trailhead:

Fishing is getting better as the water level continues to drop. Fishing best with a Pearl Elk Hair Caddis #18, Transparant #18, trailed with Copper-beaded Pheasant Tails #18 or #20.

Glacier Creek:

Fishing is good using Elk Hair Caddis #18 or #20, trailed with a Transparant #18 or a Copper Micro Mayfly #18. Water level is also dropping here and should continue.

St. Vrain River in Wild Basin:

Fishing is good, using Para Stimulator Rubber Legged Ant #16, Stonefly Stimmies #16, trailed with a Copper Micro Mayfly #18 or a Gidget #18.

Lily Lake:

Fishing good, using Scuds #18 (olive or orange) or Pheasant Tails #16 underneath.  Fishing very good in the evenings on dry flies: Orange Asher #16, Hair Wing Adams #16, Cinnamon Ants #16 and small Callibaetis #16.

Fishing very good, using Orange Ashers #16 or #18, or a Prince Nymph #14 trailed with a #16 Pheasant Tail. Pink Power Bait, Salmon Eggs, or Super Duper Lures in gold or copper, or Gold Z-ray lures.  Fly and bubble set ups have been great near the power plant. The lake was stocked this week for the fishing derby, so fishing is great.

Best Bet:

Lily Lake is fishing great in the evenings using dry flies: Orange Ashers #18,  Callibaetis #16, or Cinnamon Ants #16.
